I
have chosen for her to wear a red shirt to represent their passion and love for
each other within their relationship. It is the focus of their relationship as
when people look at someone, they look at their face first, then scan down the
body so the red shirt is one of the first things that the audience will see.
The
jeans that I have asked her to wear have small rips in them and are casual
jeans. This shows how their relationship is casual and they are comfortable
around each other. The white shoes in the photos also show the casualness
within their relationship.
The shots that I took show Olivia’s diversity in dancing ability,
including floor work and regular standing dancing, as well as use of her hands
to express herself. Olivia wears glasses normally and is the reason that there
are some pictures with glasses and some pictures without glasses. Right now, I
am unsure of whether I’ll ask her to wear them or take them off for when I
film.
I have asked Olivia to choreography a brief choreography as a base line to follow when she dances, but she can also vary away from it slightly when she is dancing as she has said she is comfortable dancing free style. I will also film her close-up, at a medium distance and a far distance to show their relationship. For example, when they are in love and before they argue, the shot will be close or mid-shot to show that they are close to each other in all aspects – emotionally, physically and that they trust each other. On the other hand, when they start to argue and fall out within their relationship, I will use a longer shot on Olivia to show how they grow apart physically and in love and trust.
